Hello to all

Hello to all
Can anyone shed some light on why my husbands watch goes fast when it is on his wrist. He has put in a new battery, as we thought it may be the battery. It doesn't happen when I where the watch, but when he puts it on the second hand goes crazy, and gains an hour every hour!! Would be great if someone could shed some light on this for us.
