Nice indeed. I have a very similar watch, one made for the Italian Ski and Mountaineering School.

Yours, depsite being in the same case and with a variant of the same dial, is made by DPW. You might be interested to know that DPW actually stands for Diving and Professional Watches, not Department of Public Works. Here's a link to an Italian page about some of their pieces
