Kobold Polar Surveyor . . . Big-TimeTool ! ! !
In Response To: Does this qualify as "Tool"? ()

Toni:

if that Kobold isn't a tool watch, then I don't know what would be . . . awesome, and I understand that some teams have actually worn these, exploring the poles.

can you explain the time-keeping?? I see a 4th hand on the center pinion (to track the time on the 24-hour bezel), but what are we seeing on the recorder at 9:00 (nine o'clock)? Is there a hand that can be set to track a second timezone? Are either of these two hands able to be set to a specific second timezone?

Great watch; great photos; thanks!!

Jeff
