FSOT: Omega Speedmaster 105.012-66 HF trade for Rolex

Hello Chronotrader,

After acquiring this stunning piece on OF a couple of years ago, I’m looking to trade it.

This Speedmaster makes for an amazing daily wear piece, as it was serviced towards the end of 2017 (i had posted a couple of threads, but after a new mainspring it runs nicely) and is period correct (apart from the hands).
The 24.9m serial number is in range for a 105.012-66 HF.

The dial is the most beautiful 012 dial I’ve seen in person, and I’m as sure as one can be that it was not relumed.
When I acquired the watch, it had original hands showing a bit of tritium loss. Unfortunately they cracked during the service, which is why I bought a second hour and minute hand to have them relumed by James Hyman, I will also include the original H/M hands (which were poorly relumed by my watchmaker following the tritium loss).
The running seconds hand was repainted during service because it had a small paint loss.

Other than that, I think that the watch is original. I don’t have a case back picture, but I have taken a video of it that I can share with you by WhatsApp or mail.
I guess the case was lightly polished at some point, but it’s hard to tell and looks full whilst showing beautiful brushed/polished surfaces (it is an HF case and case back).

Pushers and crown are correct, as is the crystal if I recall correctly (flat logo but I would have to double check).

I really love wearing this watch, so I’m not desperate to sell it. I’m just waking up to vintage Rolex and i’d like to experiment some of the watches that I dismissed these past years.
I value the watch at 9500€ tradewise, and i’d Be looking mainly for a Submariner (5513, 1680 or 16800), a GMT (16750,16760), a Sea Dweller (1665) or an explorer (16550, 1655). I also love blue Tudor subs (76100, 79090, 94010...).
As you can see I’m pretty open minded, so don’t hesitate to try me :D
