FS: Rima Chronograph (made by Breitling) Ref. 765, pre AVI

Hi,
I am offering a very special chronograph from the 50s with a 38mm stainless steel stepcase and round pushers.
It is a Rima Chronograph produced by Breitling for this US-company (was located at 5th Ave. in New York).
As I know, it is a private labeled Breitling Premier Ref. 765, made for Rima watch (and therefore a pre AVI chronograph with same reference number).
It is very big (about 38mm without crown) chronograph for its time and has a nice Venus 178 columnwheel movement.
Round pushers, blued hands and stepcase speak for a high quality chronograph.

Case: Appr. 38mm without crown, 20mm lugs, round pushers. Case looks good.
On the back is the typical writing for Breitling chronographs: "Swiss, Shock protected, Antimagnetic, Stainless steel, a serial number and the reference number (Ref. 765)

Dial and hands: Dial is patinated very nice, has little spots (see the max. enlarged pic), but untouched.
Hands are blued steel hands. Some lume left in the minute hand.
The dial has a wonderful golden colour.

Movement: Nice Venus 178 columnwheel with shock protection and nice fine adjustment.
Marked with "Rima Watch" on the bridge and the US import marking for Rima.
(Nice Feature: Because of the import, the movement has to be marked with "17 jewels unadjusted". At this movement, that marking was made by hand. This was uncommon, but you can find some of such "engravings" on movements of this time).
The watch is untouched, that means, service history is unknown.
But I have worn it several times and all functions are given, the watch works well and runs accurate (about +/- 30s/day).

Production year should be round about 1950.
Watch should be untouched, means all original.

The watch is located in germany.
I am asking 2450 Euro incl. shipping in the EU for this nice Rima (Breitling) chronograph.
Payment with Paypal F+F or Paypal (please add 4.5%).
I have plenty of references here, in german Uhrforum, 100% at Ebay.

But now some pics:

For question, please send me a PM.

Best regards,
Peter
