FS: Heuer 1950s Chrono retailed by O.Rydén, Malmo Ref 2447

While Heuer is widely recognized for its models from the 1960s and 1970s such as the Autavia, Carrera, and Monaco, some of the earlier models from the 1940s and 1950s are actually my favorites and in my view remain relative underappreciated in the world of vintage watches. This reference 2447 is an oversized chronograph from circa 1950 and has an unusual Swedish retailer signature on the dial in silver. These oversized chronographs with black dials are extremely rare and desirable to collectors today. The case remains unpolished and I believe the crown and pushers are original to the watch. Overall, it is extremely difficult to find a watch like this today.

This watch has a manual-wind movement (Caliber 72 made by Valjoux), and is 37mm in diameter. Price: $9,000
