FS: **REDUCED** - Vintage Big Arrow Clinton Skin Diver

Hello CT,

Here for sale I have a vintage 1950s skin diver.

THE NITTY GRITTY
Maker: Clinton
Model: Skin diver.
Functions: Date
Case Material: Stainless steel
Case Width: 36mm
Case Thickness: 11mm
Crystal: acrylic
Lume: Yes, radium
Lug Width: 19mm
Box/Papers: N/A
Year: 1950s

CONDITION REPORT
The case shows some signs of age, like scratches and small dings that are hardly noticeable while on the wrist. The bezel still freely rotates to both sides and maintains some of the original black paint (although much has faded). The dial is a matte black with white lettering. The indices at 6, 9 and 12 are triangular, all filled with radium lume (9 and 12 black lettering has faded, but lume still present). All the remaining indices are straight baton, filled as well with lume material. The arrow hands are in great condition, too. Filled with all the original lume. The set of hands feature a small lollipop seconds hand, that also has luminous material at the tip.

The movement has been checked and it’s working flawlessly. The rotor freely rotates and ticks strongly.

DESCRIPTION
This watch, if you ask me, is the perfect summer beater. Now that the heat is approaching our lifes and we are more likely to go out, this piece trully represents what fun and vintage are to me. The broad arrow hands are something you don’t commonly see, as well as the triangular indices. The dial is a matte black which makes it really easy to pair with any kind of strap you like: perlon, NATO, leather, steel bracelets…

Another significant and rare feature of this watch is the date. Look closely. The font is red for all the numerals (not as the “more commonly” seen roulette dates).

If this hasn’t convinced you yet, the size will. Coming at 36mm is the perfect watch for almost every wrist. No matter if you are male or female, this watch represents sportyness and will complete any outfit you pull off!

Grab it before it’s too late, because these watches don’t come around often.
