Hello CT, here for sale I have a beautiful UG 853100/34

THE NITTY GRITTY

Functions: Date, day
Case Material: Stainless steel

Case Thickness: 10.2mm

Lume: Yes, tritium
Lug Width: 18mm
Box/Papers: N/A

CONDITION REPORT
The case is as good as it gets, never polished and with very sharp angles. There are two significant scratches in the back of the watch created by a poorly previous attempt at opening the watch. Even the serial number and reference are still sharp. The dial has aged to a beautiful dark chocolate color, that really stands out when in the sun. It has all the lume plots intact. Day-date function works as it should, as well as the quickset function. The hands are in remarkable condition, with the exception of some stain in the minute hand. The crystal is correct and original, with the corresponding UG logo in the center. Crown is, as well, correct and original. The movement works flawlessly and it’s keeping awesome time.

DESCRIPTION
“The Unisonic symbolizes the freedom and innovation of the 1970s with its electronic tuning-fork movement foreshadowing the advent of the Quartz Revolution”

Hodinkee

This watch represented what high technology looked in the industry back in 1959, when Max Hetzel and William Bennet of Bulova introduced this movement. It allowed for a better and higher precision (360Hz), which made the seconds hand perfectly slide, without any tick tock.
