Wittnauer Professional Chronograph 246T Scuba Roulette Exotic Dial Valjoux 72 MINT c.1970
The BEST example of this rare model watch we have ever seen.
Never opened until now.
Appears little worn, if ever, all original!
Circa 1970 EXOTIC Racing dial Valjoux 72 powered 42mm diving chronograph.
Unpolished and Minty case, sharp original factory edges, Sunburst finish is CRISP, original signed Wittnauer crown, original crystal and pushers!
Bakelite “Roulette” bezel in MINT stunning condition with just a few tiny marks, rotates smoothly, no damage whatsoever – GORGEOUS!
MINT, Original Condition: untouched dial with orange diver MIRROR finished handset and full TRITIUM lume: T SWISS T in pristine incredible condition, LOOK 👀 at those lume plots!
All original, UNOPENED until now from 1970, and note, not a single service date etched in caseback, not a single mark on ANY screw head, and what’s even harder to believe: RUNNING PERFECTLY — resetting crisply, keeping perfect time, exactly 50 years later!
I have come to the conclusion this watch was little used if at all, and just sat in a box all these years. That being said, I would recommend at the very least lubrication at this time, obviously.
On original JB Champion “Brick Link” bracelet dated 10 / 70, lightly cleaned, sharp all around, minimal stretch if any, full size.
I have added EXTRA photos as some may be unfamiliar with this RARE model.
