THIS IS A RARE OMEGA SEAMASTER CHRONOGRAPH. Here are the details: 40x48mm OMEGA SEAMASTER REF 145.024 ca 1971- CALLED THE "DARTH VADER" MODEL. It is easy to see why with its sharp hooded or helmut lug design. I have only seen one other in my 10 years of collecting and this one is in superb condition- Nawcc Excellent and running well. It is all original down ot its original crystal and original full length Omega bracelet. Here are specific details:
DIAL- exotic multi color design- Gray ( it is actually darker than the scans) white and with Orange hands. It has an outer tachymeter chapter ring. The dial is really cool.
MOVEMENT- Omega, caliber 861. Triple register chronograph and signed: OMEGA, SWISS, 17 JEWELS, 861 and with serial number 31316253. The movement is running good and keeping great time.
CASE- All s/s screwback with Seahorse and Seamaster embossed on the back. It has a hooded/helmut design that tapers to almost razor sharp edges. You can see where the SPACE RACE INFLUENCE THIS DESIGN. The inside of the caseback is signed: OMEGA WATCH CO, FAB SUISSE, SWISS MADE, ACIER INOX. and 145.024. The case is almost like new.
CROWN- original signed Omega crown.
BRACELET- Original full length signed Omega bracelet ref 1162. It is almost like new.
The crystal is free of scratches or chips and is the ORIGINAL SIGNED OMEGA CRYSTAL. THIS WATCH IS SIX TIMES SIGNED- DIAL, MOVEMENT, CASE, CROWN, BRACELET AND CRYSTAL.
