FS: ZENITH A386 EL PRIMERO
Hi all,
here for your consideration a nice Zenith A386 El Primero, the first automatic watch in the World.

The only stainless steel El Primero with this rounded case style. The thin bezel allows the dial to take up more space, which makes the watch appear bigger. It has a tachymeter as well as a decimal dial ring (dividing a minute in 100 units). Big subdials, overlapping each other, in three different colours : a unique new design. The blue subdial at 3 o’clock may loose its blue colour due to ageing.

They manufactured 2.500 watches from this model.

As seen in the first catalog illustrations A386 more often came standard on a plain black leather strap so a ‘ladder’ stainless steel Gay Frères bracelet could be purchased at extra cost.

The case diameter is 38 mm without crown (the same is true for almost all the vintage Zenith El Primero’s). 38 mm is a handsome big size, suitable for almost everybody.

This watch is on very nice condition - everything is Original - never polished case, very good not discolored dial and hands, pushers and crown, with red square box, black Zenith strap with buckle and Gay Frères bracelet dated 4/69 according with the serial of the watch 707D147 dating it as one of the first models manufactured on 1969.

This is one from the second series with smooth Type B case back.

Looking for around 6.500euros (shipment and full insurance with Fedex Worlwide for OTD members)

Thanks for viewing and CT for this space
