FS: Heuer Autavia 11630 MH 'Wabi'

Another one that doesn't get the wrist time it deserves..

It's a circa 1972 Autavia 11630 MH, Cal. 12. It has developed a really nice faded/wabi'd look. Originally the highlights were bright orange, and most can fade to a sickly pale colour, this one has faded to dull green/tan mil-esk tones.

It had a service about 18 mths ago, but I have noticed that the rotor has developed a slight rattle to it. (I have this with another of my Cal. 12's, and it's fine  ). Also, I ran the chronograph for 6 hours and it stopped. I've since sent it to my watch guy, and the hour sub-register hand was reset (presuming it might be catching). I ran it again for 7+ hrs and it was fine. Otherwise it runs perfectly well, keeping good time, with the chrono re-setting as it should. But please factor in a service in a year or two to be safe!

Some of the lume on the tips of the hour batons was cracking & unstable, fearful that this could get into the movement, I've had the old lume removed and relumed in a vintage creamy colour. The first photo (on a NATO) below shows the watch before this reluming was done, the rest of the photos I've taken today.

The case is very clean and sharp, with a few tiny dinks, but remarkable condition for it's age - I haven't had it refinished. The bezel insert is a bit beaten up - please see pics, and has faded to a nice faint blue-black-ish tone.

Any questions, just fire away.
Head only - will include the leather strap shown.

I'm after £1700 for it. (or very near offers)

Thanks
Stewart
