FS: AUTAVIA 1163 "ORANGE BOY"
Here for your consideration my very very rare Heuer Autavia 1163 "Orange Boy" automatic chronograph.

The "Orange Boy" nickname refers to an Autavia 1163 that has a black dial / white subs with orange accents.

These combo's are very rare - the number of known examples floating around within the collector community is estimated to be in the 20-25 models.

Extremely rare and even rarer to find in this condition.

Movement: Heuer Caliber 12 - excellent condition, very clean.

Serial : 242xxx

Dial: Excellent condition, lume dots intact and have patined nicely - patina on the dial matches the patina of the lume on the hands. Always a good sign.

Hands: original brushed steel with orange insert. The sub register hands are brown. Only the watch referred to as the "Orange Boy" or "Gulf" have these hands.

Bezel: original overall great condition - hard to find these in good condition.

Case: Excellent condition, starburst finish, very sharp edges, a few very fine hairline scratches.

Crystal: original plexi crystal that has been buffed out - excellent condition

Papers : Original papers.

Function: keeps good time - runs smoothly, chronograph function works perfectly, start stops and resets to zero.

Please check the pictures below (Sorry for some dust on the crystal)

This is a rare bird indeed you don't find anywhere.

I am open to reasonable offers around 7.500euros (shipment and full insurance enclosed with Fedex Worldwide)

Please check well the pictures below as they talk about the rarity and quality of the watch.

Thanks for viewing and CT for this space
