Up for sale is this genuine all-stainless vintage Squale Tiger dive watch rated to 300 meters and with unique Ploprof-style locking elapsed time bezel and date complication. My client has owned this Tiger for about 7 years so if it is an NOS construction out of vintage parts by Squale, it is certainly one of the first. This extremely funky, cool and rugged diver features a beautiful white dial with patinaed luminous, unpolished case and large, easily grippable bezel that is locked in place and released by depressing the red button on the lower right lug. Overall, the watch is in Near Mint to Mint condition with very little wear and its ETA-based movement is keeping great time. If you want a rugged diver that doesn't look like all the rest with superior build quality at an excellent price, this is your watch!

The asking price for this exceptional example of Squale Tiger is now DROPPED to a super low $750 USD including fully insured FedEx shipping worldwide. CASE & BACK: Large, uniquely shaped heavy stainless steel case with semi-hooded downward sloping lugs measures 43mm wide across the bezel and 48mm to the crown and 51mm end to end. The watch shows its original finish with virtually no marks at all--Mint condition. Screw in water-resistant caseback with slip-resistant pattern is also extremely clean--likewise Mint condition and the back has crisp reference/serial numbers and Squale nomenclature. The back is screwed down too tightly for me to open with my hand wrench but all is guaranteed correct inside, as well.

DIAL & HANDS: Mint condition original matte white dial with applied Tritium luminous-filled markers of various shapes and sizes that have acquired a handsome biscuity patina and are still mildly light reactive. Original hour and bright orange minute hand are Near Mint with just some small signs of age to the luminous and they will also glow briefly after light exposure, as does the luminous dot of the black sweep seconds hand.

CROWN & PUSHER: Original signed Squale crown screws down and pulls out to the winding, quickset date and hacking time-set positions as it should. The red pusher on the lower right lug releases the bezel and enables it to be set and then re-locks it when the button is released in the manner of Omega's famous Ploprof diver.

CRYSTAL: Original scratch resistant high-pressure mineral crystal is scratch & chip free--Mint.

BEZEL: Original oversized ratcheting bidirectional rotating elapsed time bezel is exceptionally tight and clean with sharp, well defined knurling--easily Near Mint with only some minor swirlies to the highly polished finish. All enamel paint still fills the numerals and its sunken luminous "12" triangle is intact and has acquired a handsome patina that nicely matches the dial.

MOVEMENT: As stated above, the caseback is screwed down too tightly for me to open. But I believe that ETA caliber 2982 with hacking seconds and quickset date is beneath the hood of this beauty. The watch was last serviced 3 years ago and is keeping good time with all functions working very well and this is guaranteed to be the case at the time of shipping.

STRAP: This Squale Tiger comes on an orange pigskin NATO with minimal wear that compliments the orange minute hand perfectly. This watch has a 20mm lug width and standard removable springbars.

While this Tiger passed a pressure test 3 years ago, I make NO guarantees for the water resistance of this watch in any way, shape or form. Have it tested again if you want to use it as a diver or for any other aquatic activities. It'll most likely pass with flying colors!

This great Squale Tiger is offered with a 3-day inspection period from the date of receipt and may be returned for a full refund (less any shipping costs incurred by the buyer). This refund is unconditional and once I get the watch back in exactly the same condition as it was sent to you, your money will be refunded.
