FS: Vintage WWII Luftwaffe Strap

This is the strap that I developed for the Bremont S2 'Black' Project..by Alistair
It is based on a pre WWII strap worn by Luftwaffe pilots for Bhur Navigation watchesthe strap is made from good quality 'coach' leather the kind used for equestrian bridal work hence the rivets to keep it secure. These straps were made a few years ago by a large strap brand and were £120 and very thin... these are priced at £80 Free Shipping WW for OTD Members... paypal payment to sales@atgvintagewatches.com or go through my site with Paypal also...

The leather is thick but will loosen up with wear... any thinner and it becomes very loose...

The strap has an 'integral' buckle that acts like a bracelet so a pilot could loosen the strap and slip it over his outer jacket with one hand without releasing hold of the control column of the plane he or indeed she was flying....

Size
The lugs are 22mm (can be crushed down to twenty... so it fits any large pilot watch including Bremont watches and the whole size fits from 6.5 inches to 9.5 inches

I have made quite a few straps over the years and will be producing a new range in the new year.. and this is one of the best I have made... brilliant design and execution...

PS I have a couple of ex sample versions with rubbed leather... below

This link shows how the strap was developed : http://forum.atgvintagewatches.com/showthread.php?5886-Ultimate-Pilot-Strap-Development&highlight=pilot+strap
