FSOT: 1970 Omega Seamaster 1000m, a.k.a. Grande - 166.093

These don't come up often and rarely as nice and complete. I need to make space for new acquisitions so I'll have to let this go.

I'll let the photos speak for the watch but:
it's in great condition with very few blemishes
With the Big Omega dial
A recent service (August 2014)
Two years Omega warranty
All parts replaced in recent service are included (including hands)
Original Box & Mesh bracelet extension (not in photos)
It keeps time very well (see Chronoscope output from Omega Boutique)

I am looking for sell this for $8000 (includes US shipping, wire preferred, you pay the paypal fee) which I believe is a fair price for this rarest of Seamasters. You can see three on Chrono24 (overpriced, I know) for $7300 to $9700 but they're not this complete or nice. Two have come up on eBay in the last 12 months (believe me I've looked) but they were in such poor shape one of them was returned prompto and the other never sold. I have lots of references available (here, on WUS & eBay).

I will listen to reasonable offers and trades (some with cash one way or the other) for:
• Speedmaster Soyutz
• IWC regulator
• Omega Speedmaster 145.003
• Vintage Fifty-fathoms
• JLC Tribute to Deep Sea
• Panerai Radiomir California
• Vintage Heuer Camaro
• Other watches of commensurate value, new or vintage (Omega, Patek, Vacheron Constantin, JLC, Tudor, Rolex, ...)

As you know, this is a diver of extreme significance and the deepest capable watch from Omega until the very recent Ploprof 1200. The members of the Cousteau team have used the Seamaster1000m extensively after it was tested by the Comex in Marseille as part of the Janus program in the late 60s. Here are a couple of shots of that watch on the wrist of JY Cousteau himself
