FS: EARLY HEUER AUTAVIA 1163MH "DEREL BELL"

I am selling this fabulous Heuer Autavia 1163MH ( aka Derek Bell ) with low serial "143".
The watch has polished markers with luminous inserts and polished steel hands with luminous and black inserts.
3-6-9-12 hour recorder and the very desired caliber 11 movement.
You can read more on this third version Autavia 1163 MH in this great review on OTD:
http://www.onthedash.com/thoughts/field-guide-to-the-heuer-autavia-reference-1163-black-dial/

I have had several of these early 1163's with steel hands but this one is without any doubt the best I have seen so far.
This watch is extremely close to perfection with the best case you can possibly imagine; dial and hands are fantastic with the original
and matching lume. Case has that very sought after sunburst graining and there are just no scratches visible.

All parts are original; MH bezel in very good condition with only very few hair scratches;
Original plexi in very good condition; pushers are very clean and crisp with no green oxidation.
Case-back in superb and clean condition with no scratches.
Bi-directional bezel with very firm clicking.
Model number and serial number are clearly visible between the lugs.

Model: Heuer Autavia 1163MH
Serial number: 143707
Movement: Heuer caliber 11

Mechanically the watch is in perfect working order; keeping very good time with good power reserve;
Chrono starting, stopping and resetting perfectly.

If you are looking for an early black dial 1163 in a mint condition, my bet is that you will not find a better one than this.
So you get a watch in a perfect condition that is becoming pretty rare and thus a great investment.

Price: 3600 euro ( shipping and Giuliano corfam included )

( I give a full refund in case of a problem or if the watch is not as described )

Kind regards,
Bernard
