FS: Rare ref. 3641 chrome-plate Heuer Chrono *PIC*

I just came back from a bit of traveling, and realized I came back with 4 new watches. To maintain peace at home, I think I have to sell one of them.

Let's start with this one then, and this is a nice one.

It is a Heuer Chronograph from the early 1960's. I believe this dial and hands will date this chrome-plated reference 3641 from 1960 to 1962. The newer ones have the Carrera hands and 45min chrono, this is the original one with sword hands and 30min chronograph function.

ref, 3641 was offered alongside the Carreras, this one with the chrome plated case is more rare than the SS Carreras. All of the early Heuer Chronos are going up in value, and this is a rare one that still can be had for a very reasonable price.

The watch runs well, winds smooth, and chrono works 100%.

The only negatives are the small marks on the back cover from opening it, and the chrome plating is slightly worn out from the end of lugs.

I believe this to be an untouched case, the serial number(44xxx is clearly visible between the lugs), and the dial is very good. The luminous markers have a nice patina to them, and in my opinion, they match the hands.

I am not sure whether the crown is original or not. It has the Heuer logo, but apparently there are two opinions whether the crown should have this logo or not on these early Chronos.

The watch comes with a very nice Nomos Shell Cordovan brown leather strap. No box/papers with this vintage piece unfortunately.

I'm open for offers around 1500USD plus shipping with actual cost. I am also open for trades, as long as you don't tell my wife.
The watch is located in Seoul, South Korea, but I travel often and extensively.
