FS: Longines Torpedo Boat Deck Chronometer, early 1900s, US N

Selling this WW I era Torpedo Boat chronometer from Longines with a 36 size movement. All original. The striking silvered dial has black roman numeral hour and arabic numbered second dial markers, with power reserve indicator beneath the 12 o'clock position. The huge 68mm watch case has double snap back lids and is made from sterling silver. This watch has the Longines Caliber 21.29 17 jewel movement with 5 adjustments. US Navy engraved markings on outer case back. Dial has a small area on outer diameter at 1 o'clock where silvered finish is rubbed off, and has other small scratches. Glass also has several small chips around its outer edge. Silver case is otherwise in very good condition. Watch keeps good time. Price is $3400 plus postage.
