FS: Heuer Camaro 7220N (1969) w/ correct Gay Freres bracelet

Hello,

I'm offering for sale my mint condition Heuer Camaro 7220N, complete with the correct factory fitted bracelet (the Gay Freres 'beads of rice' bracelet with the distinctive 'HLA' stamped 19mm end pieces). The watch is in superb condition with an unblemished matt grey dial that has clearly seen little sunlight or rigorous wear, with the batons in excellent order and bearing traces of the original lume, and the manner in which the indentured registers still brilliantly refract the light in order to frame each register being of particular note. The hands are the correct original items in excellent order with the register and sweep hands still bearing the original paintwork. The case upper has retained the original starburst finish and the caseback is similarly unmolested, retaining both the original radial brushed metal finish and clean sharp wrench grooves in an unmarked radial band. The pre-fluted pushers and signed milled rim crown are again original and are again in outstanding condition. The bracelet links and endpieces are better than mint, while the clasp still closes crisply. The Valjoux 72 movement keeps excellent time and has benefited from four full strip down pre-emptive services in the 13 years I've owned it, all of which were undertaken by the highly regarded Watch Service Centre of Clerkenwell, with the most recent being 18 months ago, since which the watch has been frequently wound but worn only twice.

I've uploaded a number of high resolution photos here: http://postimg.org/gallery/hxuz2tgk/ and can provide others if they are sought.

As recent asking prices on eBay and elsewhere seem to vary enormously, and as I haven't frequented this site as often as I would have liked over the past ten years or so, I'm going to ask for sensible offers. BACS transfer is the preferred means of payment but I am more than happy to accept PayPal, plus 4% to cover the fees. Delivery will be made by tracked and fully insured means charged at cost; alternatively, as I live in London I'm happy to meet centrally and accept cash on delivery. I have excellent references and, although I haven't used their services or bought anything from them for some time, I've had other watches serviced over the years by that ever excellent pair Jasper Bitter and Nic Green who I trust will assure enquirers of my bona fides (and I shall shortly be posting for sale the Autavias and the Carrera that they restored for me).

Best Wishes,

Kayne
