I am offering a 1966 Breitling Navitimer with the “twin jet” dial with small subdials. This is pretty much the best condition Navi I have personally come across in recent years. While the 806 Navitimer watch itself is not overly rare, what is different about this one is the immaculate condition of the original dial, lume, and subdials – clearly this has spent most of its life in a safe or drawer.

Case: Excellent, unpolished 42mm stainless steel case with no major dings, dents, or deep scratches as shown in the photos. Sharp lugs. Case back has some small scratched from a case opening tool.

Crown is original correct signed “B” crown and pushers start, stop, and reset the chronograph smoothly.

Bezel: Original polished stainless steel bezel with internal slide rule in perfect condition.

Dial: Original black dial with twin jet logo in excellent condition with all text present and no damage to the dial.

Hands are original with some tiny degradation to the lume fill, indicating they are contemporary to the date of manufacture.

Caseback: Original solid caseback with serial number engraved on the inside. Serial number is 10676xx dating the watch to 1966.

Crystal: Acrylic crystal with no chips, cracks, or deep scratches.

Movement: Original manual winding Venus caliber 178 column wheel chronograph in excellent condition. Watch was just serviced in 2014 and keeps excellent time. All functions work as they should.

Strap – leather, unbranded.
Papers/Box – none
