I know you are an honest guy as I do follow your sales. I don't write much and I am not one to speak out but I felt this one needed a little clarification. Main problem is the dial. Although original UG and worth a small fortune in it's own right, it is a late 1950's dial. The case is undeniably a mid 1940's from serial number 1174104 (see https://omegaforums.net/attachments/universal-geneve-serial-numbers-jpeg.86666/) and model reference 22499.

On your UG, dial, hands are all wrong and so are pushers (much later pushers when it but should have 1940's large mushroom pushers). Sala's book is a must before you buy a UG.

The watch has been put together (sorry) but that is the bottom line ...
