FS: Revised post: Gallet 1940s? Two-register chrono ww2 *PIC*

I am revising the post as I have more up to date information.
I'm not a veteran chrono collector so I welcome any input.

First off, here's a video of the watch in question: http://tinypic.com/r/fddefk/9
Secondly, here's a similar watch (Racine rather than Gallet)
http://www.vesperco.com/whatsnew/2015/11/23/racine-chronograph

Here's a picture of some scuffing issues. While I think the watch is predominantly steel it does appear to have some plating that is scuffing off and it seems to have never been polished, which I take it is a good thing. See here http://tinypic.com/r/2e66j37/9

I got it on eBay from a seller who was not a veteran eBay seller and had taken some poor photos.
After buying it, I asked him about its original owner. He told me it was his friend's Father in Laws watch and that he was a pilot in World War Two (I can provide the name to the buyer).

I almost sold it but didn't realize that it had been plated and the buyer didn't want a plated watch.

Now I already bought something else and so sadly need to sell it.

If you are interested - and have a good idea of its value - make an offer!

Christies is currently considering the watch for its online watch shop but it might be nice to sell it directly!

I am in Southern California and would welcome face to face.
