FS: Extermely Rare Heuer Aquastar Regate - Fully Functional

For sale is an extremely rare dual branded Heuer-Aquastar Regate in excellent condition. The watch was fully serviced in October 2015 and is functioning accurately. These are very difficult to find (about 10 known examples listed by S/N on heuerchrono.com) and even more difficult to acquire in what I would consider "collectors" condition, and fully functioning as they should. This is an early model, Serial Number 401930 (3rd on the heuerchrono list.) The very first of the Heuer 5-Dots, Heuer co-branded these regate watches that used a specially modified Felsa 4000N movement in the mid-sixties. More historical information can be found on this rare model at Henrik's excellent site: http://www.heuerchrono.com/heuer-5-dots/

Please reference pictures below, as you can see this 5-Dot resets/zero's properly when plunger is pushed, and counts down the 5-minute interval accurately. Diameter (excluding signed crown) is 36mm. The watch comes on a black leather rally strap and includes an modern Heuer signed 18mm buckle.

Starting the 5-Minute Counter, seconds hand re-sets to zero (12 O'clock) and red colored discs fill the 5-Dots:

Two (2) minutes passed in the countdown:

Four (4) minutes passed in the countdown:

Five (5) minutes passed in the countdown - Okay to cross starting line!!!:[/b]

Modified Felsa 4000N with special drive wheel for the count-down disc.
