Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. FS: Gallet MultiChron 12 "Jim Clark" Tropical Gilt Dial

Offering a very interesting and honest Gallet MultiChron 12 "Jim Clark"

The original glossy gilt dial has aged to a tropical finish full of personality. While certainly not for everyone, this example is truly unique for those that appreciate tool watch "wabi-sabi"

As put by Mr. Stein, "This Gallet has all the wabi / patina / character / scars / mocha / sunburn anyone could ever ask for."

- The radium luminous is still largely in tact on the dial
- Original hands with radium luminous. Part of the luminous on the minute hand has fallen out
- Excelsior Park 40 is running and the chronograph engages and resets, however, the movement has been not been timed and will need service for regular use
- Original screwback 38mm case with original pushers and unsigned crown
- Crystal is worn and has a scratch around 7 o'clock
- Paired with a used 20mm leather strap and generic buckle

Open to reasonable offers - I value this example at a slight discount to current Gallet "Jim Clark" pricing but please no lowball offers
- Payment via bankwire or PayPal (+4%). Refunds within 3 days if not as described (buyer responsible for return shipping and insurance).
