In 1989, Omega commemorated their involvement in the Apollo space program and moon landing with a limited version of the legendary moonwatch. For the 20th anniversary in 1989, we saw the first commemorative model in stainless steel, released in a limited, individually numbered edition of 2000, along with special packaging and accessories.

Condition is per the photos and as follows:

Case: 42mm case in very good condition with wear consistent with use and age. Brushed and polished services are respectively bright and crisp, with the serialized number very sharp and clearly visible.

Bezel: Original tachymetre bezel in very good condition with only minor nicks and some small marks in the painted area.

Dial/Hands: Original dial and hands in excellent condition with very attractive, even creamy lume. There are no cracks in the hands or missing areas in the lume plots on the dial.

Caseback: Original moonwatch caseback in very good condition with only minor wear and intact paint.

Crystal: Newly installed OEM Omega hesalite crystal with no scratching, chips, cracks, or marks.

Movement: Caliber 861 yellow plated movement in excellent condition. Movement is very clean and all functions work as they should, with the chronograph starting, stopping, and resetting to zero as expected. Movement is keeping good time. Service history is unknown.

Bracelet/Strap: Original desirable Omega 1450 bracelet with all links present. Currently two links are removed and the watch is sized for a 7.25" wrist on the third largest micro-extension.

Box/Papers/Accessories: The original white outer and wooden inner boxes are included, as is the commemorative lunar landing patch original to the watch. No other accessories are available.
