FS: 1970 Rolex GMT-Master ref.1675 Mark 1 - Serviced w/box

Greetings,

Up for sale is a beautiful example of an original 1970 Rolex GMT Master-Reference 1675. Comes with vintage GMT Box, receipt of purchase and service booklet. This piece was in a safe deposit box most of its life and is in overall excellent condition.

CASE: All original, shows minimal signs of wear. Sides show evidence of being lightly polished at some point in its life. Topside of the case still shows brush finish. Nice beveled lugs in great condition. Overall excellent condition. Case is 39mm w/o the crown, 42mm with the crown, and 20mm between the lugs. Serial and reference numbers are crisp and well defined between the lugs:

Case Back is stamped 1675, II.70 with engraved Rolex Patented Insignia.

Fully waterproof and ocean/pool/swim ready.

DIAL/HANDS: Original Mark-1 Black Matt dial. Tritium on the hr markers show early stages of a cream patina developing. Original matching tritium hands and Date wheel also shows same cream patina developing. All age and cream patina is spread evenly throughout. Light tritium mark on the right side of the six marker.

Please note: in photos dial hr markers look white, when in fact they are a creamy color.

CROWN: Original crown signed Rolex with bar underneath. Sits flush with case and sets/winds perfectly.

Bezel is bi directional and rotates smoothly. Pepsi insert shows light even fade. Red end of the bezel shows slightly more fading than the blue side. Shows light signs of use and very faint light swirls on the right side of the noon mark and right side of the 4 mark. Certainly need a loop to see it.

MOVEMENT: Mint- recently fully serviced by Hour Time inc. and keeping time, Rolex Swiss signed caliber 1570 running flawless.

BRACELET: Original Stamped II.70 on the clasp, 6251 Jubilee w/55 end-links. Bracelet shows minimal stretch and comes with additional original links. In excellent condition, original to this piece.

Original acrylic plexi with very minimal wear.
