This is an extremely rare and vibrant WAKMANN racing chronograph powered by a Valjoux R236 manual wind movement. The movement is correctly signed and has been recently serviced. The case measures 40mm and has a bi-directional MH bezel. The black dial with white inner Tachy ring and sub-dial rings is simply stunning. It is nicely contrasted by the orange chronograph hands and the orange & white highlights in the chunky hour and minute baton hands. Overall this piece is in very nice condition and is without dings or major scratches. Some normal case wear, as seen in my pictures. There was a manufacturing relationship between Wakmann and Breitling and you can clearly see the Breitling influence on this piece. These are quite rare and difficult to find in this condition. Both straps (black leather rally & NATO) are included in the sale.
