Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. Re: not that bad if you ask me.

Thanks for the feedback Luis,

But somehow I beg to differ. The fact that someone finds a bargain does not mean that this is the market rate. The link I quoted above is an exaggeration of the situation you described regarding your sherpa graph.
You paid for yours $4500. Congratulations.
This was a bargain and you should feel proud for it! I do actually envy you.

This one goes for $8600.

This one from the forum was offered for almost $8000 after christmas and it was probably sold at a price very close to it. Was the collector who acquired it, probably a member of this forum, an idiot who overpaid for it?

Just checking and asking

I could try to use irony, exactly the same way you do.
But especially the last example should at least make you understand that the least we can do before starting attacking people is put a bit more thought into it.

Oh and if I were you I would try to find something more productive to do rather than apologising through private emails and then publicly humiliating the exact same person in the forum.

Regardless of the price or the trade I feel extremely offended by the way you decided to treat me as a person.

Scammers are actually treated much more politely in this forum than I was treated by you.

Funny me who always thought that watch collectors are a cool bunch with deep integrity.

So Luis, thank you.

Kindest regards,
Aris

: Hi again Aris,

: Your answer is just a bit off-topic
: Again, if your price is right, you'll get many offers or possible
: trades. Or maybe you're a bit in advance of the watch market
: zeitgeist.
: And I already apologized for the booklet and buckle story by email.

: Kindest regards,
: Luis
