FS: Rare 1972 Bulova "F" Chronograph Cal. 14EFAD (Heuer Cal. 12)

Hi all, up for sale is a very nice 1972 Bulova "F" Chrono. This watch uses the Bulova 14EFAD movement which is identical to the Heuer cal. 12. This watch is very rare and was only made for a short period of time, and it also features an awesome and unique mixed-finish multicolored dial. The watch is overall in great condition with everything working as it should.

Condition is per the photos and as follows:

Case: 44mm diameter stainless steel case (43mm lug to lug) in excellent vintage condition. The case has been well preserved with sharp edges and crisp, deep grained brushing. The polished case surface shows some minor wear with scratches, scuffs, and small nicks but is free of any eye sores or major dings/dents/scratches. The pushers and signed crown all appear original with the exception of the spring only on the reset pusher.

Bezel: Internal fixed base 200 tachymeter bezel in mint condition with no missing paint, fading, or chips.

Dial/Hands: A very unique and interesting four color dial in outstanding condition. The center section is a metallic blue, with a large tan segment leading to a white outer ring with red second intervals. The subdials have three rings alternating in tan and white with black print. The date disc is a metallic silver.

Crystal: Newly replaced OEM Bulova acrylic crystal.

Movement: Bulova caliber 14EFAD based on the Heuer caliber 12. All movement functions work perfectly including the chronograph start, stop, and reset to zero. The watch keeps great time, but service history is unknown.

Strap:
22mm blue sharkskin strap in like new condition with an SS buckle.

Accessories: None. Sold as watch only.

Price is $1750 shipped CONUS via PayPal or wire (3% discount for wire). US sale preferred, international sales will pay the cost of shipping. Face to face in the Boston area also welcome. I have many references available. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking!
