FS: Heuer Autavia 11630 from Argentine Air Force

Consider selling this rare piece. A 11630 Autavia issued by Fuerza Aerea Argentina (Argentine Air Force). The Argentine air force issued Heuer Autavias from mid 60s to the beginning of the 80s. Have read somewhere that the total number is approx. 1500-1600 watches but can´t confirm that number. This one has a clear logo and number (1367) stamped on the back. The watch is obviously rare but in a rather special condition and far from mint. The bezel insert has been polished at some time and the case is in well used condition. Dial and hands are in good condition. As is the original crown and pushers. It runs perfect and everything is working perfectly. The bracelet is the original brick bracelet and in good condition with all links in place (it fits a wrist of 19.5 cm without any problem).

According to the previous owner the watch was used by a navigator that was flying during the Falkland war. There is no documentation other than the correspondence with the previous owner to back this so it can probably be seen more as a fun fact than an actual provenance.

I have a hard time setting a price and I´m not sure if I will sell it but will take offers for it until Saturday 6 PM (CET).
