FS: Heuer Autavia Siffert 1163T Mark 4/5

Hi All,
My first time posting here. I'm normally active on the Omega forums under "Photo500". You can also find me on Instagram @Lewiswatchco.

I'm a watchmaker - not a watch dealer - located in Perth Western Australia and a customer who is not good with computers has asked me to try and sell his Heuer Autavia Siffert. This has sat in a private collection comprising hundreds of watches for around 20 years and is never worn. It has the Cal 11 movement.

I believe this to be a Mark 4 Siffert but it has Mark 5 hour and minute hands, perhaps it is somewhat transitional. The serial number begins with 22xxxx.

Having checked this watch over I can tell you that everything works properly, the chronograph, the date change, winding and hand setting.

The watch does in my opinion need a service as the amplitude is low at just over 200 degree's. However I know from experience that everyone has their own favourite watchmaker and as such I have not serviced it. The movement appears very clean and there is only one service marking inside the case back.

The case is entirely untouched (I specialise in case restorations so I should know) and the dial is exhibiting some patina in the form of some slightly crusty edges and a pale green tinge which is more prominent towards the edge of the dial. Patina matches on the hands and dial. The crown and pushers are correct and original.

As far as I know this is a 100% complete original survivor. It will come delivered with a new hand made tan leather strap as pictured.

The owner is looking for $13,000AUD / 8600EURO / 6600GBP / $9600USD Payment by Paypal and delivery by Express international Courier included. Email me - sales@lewiswatchco.com
