FS: Bovet Mono-Rattrapante ~ Waterproof Case ~ Rare & Serviced

Greetings. This triple register Bovet Mono-Rattrapante is a rare find for the collector of vintage complications. It has all of the things collectors appreciate, a larger sized solid stainless steel case, waterproof style pushers, and a compelling original dial with rose gold markers. My master watchmaker has completely disassembled, oiled, and tested the movement, and it will arrive in perfect running order. It is still under guarantee for 10 months.

The manual wind 17 jewel column wheel movement features the aforementioned Mono Rattrapante chronograph function which allows the user to to start the chronograph with the top pusher and stop the hand with the bottom pusher in order to get an intermediate “first” reading of the elapsed time while the pusher is still being depressed. Upon releasing the bottom pusher the hand advances to the actual elapsed time until the bottom pusher is depressed again; if you keep the pusher down, lets, say, for 10 seconds, timing will stop and jump 10 seconds ahead when the pusher is released.

Case: Excellent+. Inside case back is properly engraved Bovet Freres & Co.

Dial: Excellent+. Simple and elegant dial layout shows only minimal wear, with a few tiny spots here and there. Inner tracks are in black, and the outer one in blue.

Movement: Properly signed Bovet Freres & Co, perfectly functioning, keeping time, completely cleaned and adjusted.

Measures: 35mm without the crown

Strap: I've outfitted it with a thick leather Hodinkee style strap.

Enjoy! I've collected restored and (sometimes) sold antique wrist watches for the past twenty years. May you love your new watch as I have. I'm committed to a safe transaction for both of us. Payment by bank wire (preferred) or PayPal (lets discuss). I'm not a dealer, so sales go to fund this crazy obsession. I am happy to provide whatever you require for you to feel safe, just ask. I offer a standard 7 day inspection period for the watch. I have sold watches through Timezone mostly, and also eBay: secretsquirrel72 with 100% feedback and 360 tranactions over 15 years. I will provide references as needed. Cheers, Morgan

Price: $3200. Located in California.
