FS: FABULOUS & RARE HEUER AUTAVIA 1163 "RIDGED MARKERS"

Hi,

I am selling this very early Heuer Autavia 1163 MH.
I sold this same watch beginning of this year. Buyer is looking for something else. So I am selling it for him.
This is a pretty rare watch, Mark2 black dial Autavia 1163 that came after the Chronomatic version.
The watch has the ridged hour markers, polished steel hands and the numbers 3,6,9 and 12 on the hour recorder.
You can read all about it is this nice review:
http://thoughts.onthedash.com/thoughts/field-guide-to-the-heuer-autavia-reference-1163-black-dial/

This watch I am selling has gone through a complete overhaul by Abel Court.
Case has been detailed very lightly, complete movement service and dial and hands have been relumed.
We all know the quality of his work, so no need to explain how good the condition of the watch is.

Case of course is just perfect. Fantastic sunburst effect in the upper case, bevelled edges super shiny, sharp and even.
Original plexi and original minute/hour bezel.
Dial is in an amazingly good condition, subdials still very nice and white.
Those steel hands and ridged markers are just fabulous and make the watch look so much better than the later version with the polished markers.

Mechanically the watch is working perfect; keeping very good time and chrono working as it should.
Pushers super clean and crisp.

Model: Heuer Autavia 1163 MH, Mark2
Serial number: 143530 ( both serial -and model number clearly visible )
Movement: Heuer caliber 11
Year: '69-'71

I can offer the watch "head only", with a nice brown Bulangandsons strap or even with a NOS black corfam small/big holes.
Also a re-edition Heuer "B"-stamped buckle is available.

I am looking for offers starting from 5300 euros.
( I am including a fully insured shipping with Intex, so zero risk for both parties )

This is a rare opportunity to buy a rare watch that doesn't come up for sale very often.
Looking at where the prices of sixties Autavia's are going these days, looking at where the Chronomatic version is today it goes without saying
that this watch offers a lot of potential in the coming years.

Kind regards,
Bernard
