FS: Seiko TUNA CAN 7549-7010 Vintage 1978

Up for sale today is my Seiko 7549-7010 also call "TUNA CAN" dated May 1978.
My TUNA is all original and this rare and nearly mint watch is an essential part for any serious Seiko Diver Collection.
It has historical significance and it’s a part of the Seiko dive watch lineage.

Except the outstanding shape of this piece I wanted it to be completely operational for diving and my watchmaker has changed all seals by an original Seiko kit seals and tested the watch in situation: waterproofing warranty and pleasure tenfold for the future user who can use this wonder diving vintage !!
Water resistance: 300m/990ft/30atm.
On this occasion watch has also been serviced and all functions (time keeping and day/date) are in perfect working order.

DETAILS /

- Movement: Seiko 7549A This high-torque quartz movement is designed specifically for this model. Caliber has been developed from the 6309 platforfm.

Functions:
Rare Day/Date calendar in French/english, window display.

- Case:
Solid AISI 316L Stainless steel. Sandblasted finish aluminum protective shroud held by 3 screws .
Size is 47.00mm without crown / thickness: 14.00mm.

- Bezel:
Duo-Directional rotating, ratcheted, 0-60 countdown.

- Crown:
Sport style, screw-down (threaded).
2 Positions: 1) for day/date (turn in front/rear), 2) to adjust time.

- Crystal:
Dual curved Hardlex : (harder than regular mineral glass, more shatter resistant than sapphire. ) The extremely domed crystal can give rise to excessive reflections, but under water view ability is excellent.

- Dial/hands
Deep black dial and hands without defaults.
both have turned a beautiful creamy colour and both are amazingly preserved.

- Case Back:
Solid Stainless steel. Screw-down style Factory Engraved/Raised Logo.

- Band:
ZRC stainless steel bracelet in perfect shape.
