Bulova Oceanographer Automatic Stainless Steel & 10K Solid Gold

An outstanding 1968 original example of when Bulova made high
quality mechanical watches. The condition of the case shows
that it has never been refinished. The lugs are sharp,
the contours are even and the lines are straight. The
crystal is thick and beveled with a cyclops magnifier for the
date window which indicates it is original to the watch. The
crystal has a couple of marks that could be polished out but
they do not detract from the watch's beauty. The dial is in
outstanding condition. The hands are excellent and the lume
has a light patina. The case is brushed on the tops of the
lugs and polished on the sides. There are light swirl
scratches on the mid case, the caseback has signs of wear and
the gold bezel is in excellent condition. The bezel is
fluted and is made of 10K solid yellow gold. The signed gold
plated crown is correct for this watch. The movement is
running well and starts up with a couple of turns of the crown.
The case is 37.5 mm wide without the crown. It also
includes a new suede leather strap of $50 value. Please note
