FS: Something dressier for your Monaco for special nights out

Nice evening or special event option when you're dressing up with your Heuer Monaco and a rally band or bracelet just doesn't seem elegant enough. Here’s a 22mm caramel color Genuine Lizard 1960s/70s vintage band, tapered just right so it takes a 16mm Heuer buckle. Has the single thick vintage strap hold-down keeper. Very tasteful style in a color that's popular right now.

Band is the proper period New Old Stock 1960s/70s. Stunning color and texture. Thickness is 4.0mm where the band meets the watch and 3.0mm at the tail end. Made by Speidel USA. Long Band measures 8 1/2 inches (21.5cm) with the 2 pieces placed end to end, without the buckle counted in. Metric measurement of the two pieces is 125/90mm.

Good vintage Exotic Skin bands in 22mm are really difficult to find, especially ones with the right tapered 22/16 shape for Heuers, Breitlings and Omegas tapering to 16mm buckle ends. This band would be a nice change of pace for your Heuer Monaco, Heuer Silverstone or Heuer Calculator. Or pick it up without a Heuer buckle for one of your other large chronos.

BAND & HEUER REISSUE STEEL BUCKLE: $195 including U.S. shipping with tracking or $230 for international shipment with tracking via Registered.

BAND ALONE: If you want the band without a buckle, the price is $125 including U.S. shipping & tracking, or $139.99 shipped internationally via First Class.

PAYPAL or QUESTIONS TO billmahoney@aol.com

I have 250 vintage Exotic Skin bands and 150 Heuer-related items for sale at Squinky.com so have a look at the Heuer, Exotic Skin, Leather Racing Straps and Tropic Rubber Straps sections.
