FS: Breitling Transocean slow chronograph ref. 2005

For sale:

This really nice Breitling 'slow' chronograph ref. 2005 from the mid 60's. This is one of the most iconic dive watches out there and with a super cool complication to boot. The size of 41mm makes it perfectly wearable.

To explain the complication I use Watchfreds text because it explains it better than I ever could:

The movement used in the ref. 2005 is actually a well known friend, the Venus 188 chronograph movement - but heavily modified by Breitling. It measured elapsed diving time in minutes (the rhomboid-tipped hand), a display at 6 is blank when the diving timer is inactive, shows a big green lume dot when engaged, a small lume dot when paused.

Case: Original case with minimal wear and the original finish intact.
Case back: Original with all markings perfectly readable
Bezel: original with very minimal wear
Dial: Original dial in outstanding condition and nice patina on the indexes.
Hands: Original with matching patina of the dial.
Pushers: original and in perfect condition
Crown: Although not a 'B' signed crown I have been informed that this is an original crown.
Movement: Original Valjoux 7731, clean and working perfectly. To cite Watchfred again: Venus 188 was renamed Valjoux 7730 when Venus closed down and transferred production to Valjoux SA in early 1966, a version with an adapted balance cock was marked 7731, basically the same movement.

This is an excellent example from a very rare watch in what I believe an as original condition as possible. I am taking offers over 8500 euro.
