Vintage 1950's Orloff Chronograph. For repairs.
Finally I have a price reference as one recently sold on Ebay Germany but for repairs as well.
Need a good watch enthusiast to service as currently in general not working condition.
Working
>Seconds. Pull the crown out, turn for setting the hands and the seconds (left) dial runs.
>Day. The change of the day is working when you set the hands.
>Date. The change of the date (hand with red pointer arrow) is working as the day changes, or by pushing the button.
>Month. The change of the month is working by pushing the side button opposite the 26th day.
Not Working
>Winding. Crown turns freely...click, click, click.
>Time. Unable to test.
>Chronograph. Unable to test.
>Moon phase. Unsure. I tried half-pressure pushing the button, it moves but not entirely.
Condition
Original, except bracelet. Dial very good, nice patina. All hands very good. Case good. Crystal has scratches.
Movement, apart from not working, is very good. No sign of rust or mold. Balance staff is good.
The watch measures approx. 36mm without crown and 18mm at the lugs.
950 usd, which includes insured shipping and Paypal. Ships from Toronto, Canada. I have 7 positive sales on Chronotrader.
Please carefully examined the watch, taking into consideration its aesthetics, movement and age. Maintenance history is unknown to me. Watch is offered for sale for repairs and all sales are final.
