FS: Scubapro 500 Automatic

Up for sale is a 70's Scubapro 500 automatic diver. I am sad to see this go but as I have a birth year Rolex 1680 it does not get the wrist time it truly deserves.

The movement is an ETA 2784 with quick-set date and is running strong with a good amplitude.

Large 40mm stainless steel case (without the crown) - 15mm thick. The case has signs of wear but still some of it's original sunburt finish. This is a tool watch and has been used as such. I have recently used the watch for diving in Phi Phi and I will be happy to deliver it re-pressure tested at my watchmaker.

Dial and hands are in good vintage condition.

The original unsigned crown screws in tight. The crown/stem feels a bit loose in the third position but I have been told it is supposed to be this way (shock absorbing?).

Scratch free mineral glass and a very nice greyish faded fat font bezel (small scratch below 40) turning well with hard clicks.

Not many of these around (especially in Europe) so grab it before it's gone.

Price is € 1,400 shipped (fully insured).

The watch is located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Feel free to visit my instagram account sorsta77 for more pictures and do revert to me if you have any questions.

I reserve the right to ignore low-ball offers :-)
