FS: Poor Man’s Heuer Carrera Dato 12 a Zodiac; ref. 4567

For sale like NOS Poor Man’s Heuer Carrera Dato 12 (ref. 2547N) this is a Zodiac Dato 12 (ref. 4567). Also known as a triple date compax type.

Price: €8.500

An extremely rare, extra ordinary and really beautiful Zodiac Dato 21 (compax) chronograph from early 60's. Panda style where I like to comment that this type of color setting are so very rare and uncommon on these watches.

Movement Valjoux 72C powered. People say one of the best or the best triple date movements! Prices are going up for watches equipped with this movement.

This incredible piece is like NOS coming with all included which makes it a full complete watch set. Please be advised that so far in many many years I haven’t seen any watch like this Heuer Carrera Dato 12 or this Zodiac Dato 12 being offered fully complete. The watch:

- Like NOS
- Original exceptional and very rare OEM Zodiac Stainless steel bracelet (full length).
- Original exceptional inner box and original outer box (even this box is a wonderful item)
- Original exceptional blank service / guarantee card
- Original exceptional labels and price tags and more!
- Original exceptional manual!
- All reference numbers on box, tags / labels and guarantee card matches! (Wauwww)
- Size case excluding crowns 36,5 mm
- Highness case apprx. 12,5mm
- Glass OEM and crystal clear clean: Hard Plastic
- Dial 100% all dots, hour markers, hands and Tritium are great and wonderful patina
- The movement runs so wonderful and is clean; keeps time very good.
- All functions in operation

Without no doubt this watch could go directly to the historical watch museum of Heuer. This is no joke.

The price I am asking IMHO is still too low and attractive. Recently an almost identical watch was sold by auction for € 7.250 > only this one was a 3 register chrono only. No triple date. Without original stainless steel bracelet (a leather non brand), without box and papers, etc. See link (search for Zodiac in catalogue November 2016):
http://watchesofknightsbridge.com/view-auction-catalogues.html?pd=2016

Asking price: €8.500
Complete with all as described above this excluding extra costs such as shipping, insurance for shipping.

I regret selling this watch only I am looking for money to found my study. I have worn this watch myself very occasionally and every time I have this on my wrist people are staring and asking what I am wearing. Many compliments and dazzled looks. Honestly a watch with great style and character.

Happy to answer all your questions or to send extra pictures. I have some good references from well respected members on this forum.

Thanks in advance to Omega Forum for posting and all the are looking and show interest.

GM.
