FSOT: Sinn 156

Up for sale or trade is my Sinn 156. I love the hell out of this watch, but it doesn’t get the wrist time it deserves and I have my eyes and heart set on a Speedy. The 156 is a beast of a watch that was designed to get the German military contract after the Heuer Bund. It didn’t but an awesome watch was born. Case is the same design, likely a bit taller than the Bund, and features the legendary Lemania 5100 inside.

This watch in particular is one of the cleanest 156s you’ll find, includes the original bracelet and was overhauled by Sinn within the last 2 years. The 5100 was fully serviced and had some parts replaced (which can be a costly venture). The case was checked for water resistance. They did replace the crystal, crown and pushers, but all of the originals are included with the watch, as well as some parts they pulled from the 5100. No box or papers, but the watch will ship in a Sinn service case.

I’d give the watch a 90%+ on the TZ scale. There is a small scuff on the reset pusher, some light scuffing on the clasp of the bracelet, scratches from strap changes on the backs of the lugs as well as from the bracelet itself, and one tiny mark on the crystal at around 6. It’s acrylic, so can likely be buffed out. Most importantly, the dial is perfect and the bezel, which is plastic, is immaculate.

If interested in buying, I’m asking $2750, Paypal only, CONUS preferable (international with additional shipping). I would also very much entertain trades for a Speedy Pro of equal value, open to different refs/years, just want a Speedy!
