: Recently I purchased a vintage watch from wolvesofwatchstreet.
: questions was asked and replied as expected and service was great
: until i discovered that the watch has not been serviced for over
: 5 years (determined by a local watchmaker with over 50 years of
: experience in the brand), which was indicated it was only
: serviced last year.
: its either them or their watchmaker who is at fault.
: however, they did offer to service the watch and postal cost which
: i declined. as the watch is already with my watchmaker and im a
: international customer.
: they refused the compensate for the additional service costs which
: now im incurring.
: a lesson learnt. just beware of these guys they dont check the
: service of their watches or their watchmaker does not service
: watches in the right manner.
Yes, this happen everywhere. Some seller just don't want to spend money on service if the watch could run which they will just lies that oh its being service recently..... You should tell him the watch is not running blah blah blah tell him to service for you. I used to do this in but its not on internatonal purchasing only domestic purchasing.
