Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]

Re: Event: Got burnt - a lesson learnt

: Hi Anca,

: I believe we have been fair enough for you to provide a 3
: days no questions asked return policy
. I believe you
: could have actually brought the watch to your local watchmaker
: for an inspection within that 3 days and return it if you are
: not happy with it. You yourself replied after 3 days saying that
: you are happy and won't be returning it to us. Fast forward to 3
: days ago you replied by quoting that the watch hasn't been
: serviced by your watchmaker and upon discussing we decided to
: cover the servicing costs should you ship the watch back to us.

: However, you threatened that we reimburse you the service costs of
: $500 or else you will bring this matter up. FYI, we do disclose
: our products and stand behind our sold products as well as our
: return policy. In this case, we have given you 3 days inspection
: period and yet still decided to go the additional mile to
: provide a service for you even after the inspection period since
: you insisted the watch hasn't been serviced. I believe that is a
: fair move for the both of us but you refused our offer and
: threatened us instead.

: I'll leave it to the audiences to be the judge of this case.

: Cheers,

: Wolves Of Watchstreet

I never threatened you guys (Paul & Shaun). you told me something that was not true and i am out of pocket because of your mistake.

note 3 days is not enough to find a reputable vintage watch maker who is an expert in Omegas. took me a week or so as these specialists are very hard to find especially in Australia. im not about to walk to any jewlery store around the corner to get my watch serviced.
