Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
offering up my rare one-owner Zenith El Primero A385 with GF ladder bracelet...
purchased several years ago from the original owner’s son (and worn very infrequently since)... one of the nicest smoky/fume dial and handsets for this reference that I have seen... only 2400 pieces produced ’69-’71... the case was polished in the past by an overzealous jeweler, the beveled edges remain but the dual brushed/polished finish is gone... 2 small dings on left side of case at beveled edges (couldn’t get photobucket to upload the pic, argh!)... also looks like one of the pushers was replaced at some point... and time setting is a little tricky via the crown... winding is fine and date-set is fine, but the middle time-set is ‘slippery’... other than that, a very nice looking example and all chrono functions working properly... a trip to the maestro's spa in BE would work wonders for this rare beauty!!
also included is full GF ladder bracelet dated 4/71, but unfortunately does not have any end-links :(
looking for offers over $5,000 for this rare Zenith reference
thanks to Jeff & CT for the space!
please email w/ any questions or for more pix...
cheers,
Peter
