This forum is for BUYING, SELLING and TRADING only--not for discussing watches. Please limit postings to specific ads for buying, selling or trading watches, parts or accessories that that match at least one of the following categories:

Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]

Re: FS: 1969 Breitling Co-Pilot Ref#1765

My apologies, didn't realize not all could see my email address.

Please use: williamalthouse AT gmail DOT com

Thanks.

: For sale is an all original 1969 Breitling Co-Pilot Ref#1765.
: Please review the pictures as I am attempting to present the
: watch in its actual condition. Contact me if you would like the
: watch set to a particular time and/or pictures from other
: angles.

: Watch was fully serviced in 2014 by Chronodeco. Runs great and all
: functions operate as designed.

: Dial is in wonderful condition. There are no scratches, marks,
: pitting, etc. The sub-registers are extremely well-preserved as
: well. As you can see, the lume on the hands and dial has aged
: but still retain some of their original fluff. The 15-minute
: sub-register lume is more fully eroded though to be expected for
: a watch of 40+ years.

: The case is very strong. I am not the original owner and think it
: is nearly impossible to tell polished or unpolished with the
: talent of some watchmakers. BUT, if this was polished then it
: was done by a professional. Contact me for additional pics if
: needed.

: There are a couple very small nicks in the bezel at the 6 and 7
: markers but overall it is in extremely nice condition. It still
: will click into place upon rotating.

: I have sold a few pieces on this forum so am happy to provide
: references. Again, contact me for any additional pictures.
: Please note, I am not a watch dealer in any way but just a
: fellow nerd.

: I have seen very few of these watches in this good of condition
: trade so the data is very thin. I think I expect offers in the
: $10,000 USD range plus shipping. Payment made via bank wire and
: possible Paypal. Will ship worldwide. Free shipping for fellow
: OTD members.

: Thank you OTD and Jeff for the space!

: Bill
