FS: Omega Constellation 168.016

Up for grabs is a just-serviced Omega Constellation. Reference 168.016 with the automatic Omega cal 751 movement (the last of their great in-house movements) with a 27m serial number, dating it to ~'68. The 35mm stainless steel case is in very good and unpolished condition; sharp bevels on the lugs, correct brushing and polishing throughout, and the Constellation observatory on the case back is incredibly sharp, with all 8 stars clear. Very minor wear and scuffing, primarily on case back.

The sunburst silver dial with applied markers is in fantastic shape, with all lume plots but those at 11 and 12 present and matching the lume on the hands as well. As is visible in pictures, a 1mm square of lume has cracked off from the hour hand.

The cal 751 has a quickset date feature; pulling the crown all the way out advances the date by one; the day needs to be set by advancing the time. The watch was just completely overhauled, including replacing the date advancing mechanism with a NOS part. All features work flawlessly, and the watch is keeping COSC time. The small Omega-signed crown is correct for this watch. Comes on a new aftermarket black leather band. Asking $650USD net; happy to work out payment and shipping with buyer. Please feel free to ask any questions, and thanks for looking.
