Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. Re: FS: Heuer Autavia 'Andretti' Watch Ref. 3646

: Hi, i think your best bet is to ask On The DASH - Heuer forum, part
: of this website, for input on restoration vs outright sale. You
: have posted this on the trading forum where people sell watches,
: seems to me you need help to decide what you want to do,
: restoration or straight sale.
: Please post more pics on the Heuer forum, this will enable people
: to help you to decide what to do and what is needed. I am
: anything but an Autavia guru, but seems to me the watch crystal
: is cracked not scratched, so that is a replacement. A
: replacement bezel for an Autavia is very expensive and not easy
: to find, so for a proper full restoration with bezel
: replacement, new crystal, service, etc you are looking at an
: amount of money where you might need to add a zero to what you
: were quoted.
: Good luck. : K

Thanks, I can already see that I'll be selling "as is" so I think this is the right forum. No-one has asked for it to be restored or work done to it before buying so they must want it to be left untouched. Thanks again!
