Offering another Heuer Autavia 1163 "Viceroy" in an absolutely fantastic condition.
It's not a secret I have owned a lot of these in the past years. So believe me, I am starting to know the reference pretty well.
I know what a good one looks like.
This one is without any doubt a top watch. Not only I guarantee the watch has all the original parts ( as when sold new ) but I am also convinced
the watch has an unpolished case and a dial and hands still have all the original tritium.
So the case is unpolished with that fabulous sunburst intact. It's not that hard to find an unpolished 1163 case.
But finding an unpolished case that is in this condition really is.
I wouldn't say the case is in NOS condition, but you can take my word for it that it is extremely good. Just look at the pictures to see how sharp it is.
Please note the dirt between the bezel and the upper case. It can be easily removed by just taking the bezel off.
I deliberately left the watch will all the dirt because it's what you want to see when looking for an unpolished case.
On the back of the lower right lug you'll find the two arrows.
Dail and hands in perfect condition. I guarantee there are no oil stains or scratches. All the spots you see are in the plexi.
The red accents in the M/H hands are perfect.
Subdials extremely white.
Dial and hands have all the original tritium. So this is not a relumed watch. The lume dot at 3 o'clock has almost completely faded.
The red seconds hand suffered no paint loss.
The original Tachymeter bezel is absolutely mint. It's very hard to find them in this condition. And no need to repeat what a perfect Tachy for 1163 is worth.
( it's almost worth 50% of the completely watch ).
Plexi glass is the original and in a fabulous condition as well. No nicks or scratches.
Pushers and crown also original.
Mechanically the watch is working 100% perfect. Chrono starts and resets as it should.
Pushers very clean and crisp.
