FS: Striking Large Certina DS2 Diver ~ Orange Bezel, Blue Dial

Greetings,

[Note: My original buyer disappeared and did not pay after 2 weeks of promising to do so, so I'm re-listing it. Cheers.]

Here's something special for dive watch fans. Certina made some fantastic dive watches, like the DS2 and DS3, but I have never seen one quite like this with the orange hands and bakelite bezel contrasting the blue dial. At 42mm across, it is also a heavy and substantial chunk of steel. My Rolex trained master watchmaker completely overhauled the movement in 2012, and it runs great. The case retains its original polish, and the dial is excellent. The steel markers on the dial have a few tiny pinspots of oxidation if you look very carefully. The bezel shows some darkening in four places, but is otherwise bright and shows no cracks or chips. I have included a ChronoTrader tagged image. It will ship with the orange holes racing strap shown. I have references on ChronoTrader, WatchUSeek, TImeZone and eBay, and have been collecting and (occasionally) selling for twenty years.

$1350.

Cheers,
Morgan
